The Kimberly Elementary PTA supports and advocates for all students, families, and school staff. We are committed to making our Cub community closer, more active, and better informed. Our programs help create a bond between home and school. The PTA looks forward to your support of and participation in our PTA programs.

Required to Participate in any PTA-sponsored Program

To participate in Kimberly PTA-sponsored programs, events, and activities, such as Fall Festival, Skate Night, and Running Club, all families must submit the California State PTA: Parent's Approval, Student, Family, and Participation Waiver.

PTA Annual Waiver

Required to Volunteer During the School Day

You must be an RUSD Board-approved volunteer with a negative TB test on file, Live Scan fingerprint clearance, and completed Keenen Mandated Reporter training through the DOJ to help out on campus during the school day or chaperone a field trip. Instructions to apply and the required paperwork can be found on the District Volunteer Application site.

Fall Festival Sign-Up Genius Links

The Fall Festival and Silent Auction Fundraiser are the PTA's biggest fundraiser of the year, and every class plays an important part! Each class is responsible for a themed Silent Auction basket and helping staff an assigned booth or table during the Fall Festival. To make things easy, we've combined both requests into one Sign-Up Genius. Check out what your class needs.

Silent Auction Fundraiser: Donations Due Tuesday, October 6

The Silent Auction will feature themed class baskets, as well as items, experiences, and services donated by local businesses and our community. Have a business, timeshare, season tickets, or another item or experience to donate? Contact Sara at fundraising@kimberlypta.org. Donations can be dropped off in the Monster Box in the Kimberly Front Office. Online bidding will open the week before the Fall Festival and close at the end of the event. Winners will be notified after the auction and can pay for and pick up their items following the festival.

PTA Board Meeting: Tuesday, October 6

Join the PTA Board for our monthly meeting. We invite all PTA members to join us to learn about ways to get involved.

Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day: Wednesday, October 7

Grab your walking shoes, bikes, or scooters and join friends, teachers, staff, and families as we Walk, Bike, & Roll to School! We'll meet at Prospect Park at 7:15AM and travel together to Kimberly with a police escort. This national event promotes active transportation and healthy habits.

Charleston Wrap: Orders Due Friday, October 16

Looking for gifts, treats, or heavy-duty wrapping paper? Charleston Wrap has that and so much more, with convenient direct-to-home shipping! Students can earn prizes throughout the sale, and the top two classes earn an additional $50 toward their teacher’s PTA stipend for classroom supplies, plus a popsicle party for the class! Mt. SAC XC Invitational: Friday, October 16

Students in 3rd-5th grade will compete over famed courses, such as "Valley Loop" and "Switchbacks" at the Mt. SAC Cross Country Invitational. Good luck to the boys and girls who are representing Kimberly Elementary this year!

Reflections: Entries Due, October 19

Students are invited to express this year's theme, “What My Culture Means to Me,” through Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. Entries will be judged on the theme, creativity, technique, and originality. Students may enter all six categories but only one entry per category. Complete an online entry or downloaded entry today. Submit work to the front office. All participants will be recognized at Kimberly PTA Reflections Recognition & Awards Night on October 28 at 6:00 PM.

Fall Festival: Saturday, October 24

Save the Date! Get ready for an afternoon of game booths, inflatables, a bake sale, and more! Wristband and ticket pricing coming soon! We’d love to have more volunteers! Please complete the General Volunteer Interest Form and your class Sign-Up Genius. Interested in joining the Fall Festival Committee or have questions? Reflections Recognition & Awards Night: Wednesday, October 28

Celebrate our talented Kimberly student artists at the PTA Reflections Recognition & Awards Night. The MPR doors will open at 6:00 PM for gallery viewing. Stop by to check out students' artwork and celebrate their creativity. Awards will begin at 6:30 PM. All are welcome to attend!

Turkey Trot: Friday, November 20

Get ready to catch the turkey! Students will race, run, chase, trot, or walk their way through the Turkey Trot as they try to catch one of our teachers in disguise! Designated vieweing areas for spectators. Volunteers must be RUSD board-approved.

PTA welcomed families for the beloved dinner and movie under the stars. CNS barbequed burgers and hotdogs for kids and PTA

Welcome Back Ice Cream Social: AUG 28

PTA hosted a free event to kick off the school year, bringing families together for a fun evening! Volunteers from the National Charity League and Cope Middle School AVID program helped make this event a success! Ice cream was scooped, music filled the air, Gaga Ball was played, and soccer balls were kicked around in the courtyard. Families mingled, reconnected with old friends, and made new ones! It was a great way to start the school year and continue this long-standing back-to-school tradition!

First Day of School: AUG 13

Parents got to walk their Cubs to their classroom on the first day of school. There were plenty of hugs and lots of first-day pictures captured! We hope you have a great year! Kona Ice was waiting at Gate 2 after school, giving students and families a fun and colorful way to celebrate the first day! to bring your refillable/reusable cups for a discount!

TK/K Orientation: AUG 11

We welcomed our newest families to our school and the Kimberly Elementary Cub community. These newest Cubs had a VIP welcome, walking down a red carpet to the MPR. Students walked to their classes with their teacher and got to check out their classroom. They even got a preview of the fun awaiting them at recess!
